February 18, 2021

We are not performing any COVID vaccinations at this time and have no immediate plans to do so.

There are things you can do ahead of time to get prepared for your shot. If you are or might be pregnant, are breastfeeding, have an auto-immune disorder, are immunocompromised, or if you have had a severe allergic reaction to an mRNA vaccine or to any of its components or its container, you will need to talk to your doctor or another health care provider to see if you should get the COVID-19 vaccine. Consider contacting them now to discuss so you will ready when the vaccine is available to you.

Dear patients of the Dingwall Medical Clinic

We will no longer be accepting in person appointment requests effective March 12, 2020

If you have cold or flu like symptoms such as a fever, cough or shortness of breath and have travelled in the last 14 days or have been in contact with a person that has been diagnosed with COVID 19 please stay home and call the Northwestern Health Unit at 223-3301.

The Dingwall Clinic requires all patients wear a face mask as required by the Medical Officer of Health under the authority of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act (EMCPA) Ontario Regulations 263/20, 364/20.

Exemptions include children under the age of two years old.

Please ensure you bring a mask with you.

Our History

Dr. Donald Grant Dingwall was born in Glengary County near Lancaster Ontario on the sixth of October 1882. He graduated from Queens University Faculty of Medicine in 1906 and worked as a construction camp doctor for the Grand Trunk Railway, now the C.N.R., between Wabigoon and Quibell. In 1910 he did post graduate work in London, England and returned to Dryden in 1911 where he set up practice with Dr. Blair. They were joined by Dr. Morrison in later years. Dr. Bill Wigle joined Dr. Dingwall in the fall of 1949 in his offices above the Dryden Pharmacy.
